Who we are
About Tidings of Great Joy

Our story
Care we would want for our own families
Tidings of Great Joy was set up with a simple belief: everyone deserves care that is unhurried, respectful and built around them as a person. Too often, care feels rushed and impersonal. We wanted to offer something different.
From our office in Sutton Hill, we support people across Telford to keep their routines, their independence and their connections with the people and places that matter to them. Every visit is a chance to make someone's day a little easier and a little brighter.
What guides us
The values behind our care
Dignity
We protect privacy and treat every person with respect, especially during personal care.
Respect
We follow each person's choices, culture, faith and way of doing things.
Equality
Everyone deserves the same high standard of care, whatever their background or needs.
Compassion
We take time to listen, notice how someone is really feeling and respond with kindness.
Empowerment
We help people do as much as they can for themselves, for as long as they wish.

How we work
How we plan, deliver and review care
- A home assessment first. A senior member of our team visits to understand needs, routines and preferences.
- A care plan written with you. People and, where they wish, their families help shape what support looks like.
- Familiar faces. We aim to keep a small, consistent team of carers around each person.
- Regular reviews. We check in often and review care plans whenever needs change.
- Support when you need it. Our office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
